It has led me to search for maps of the region.<\/p>\n<p>In my quest, I recently discovered this <a title=\"Burgoyne map of Ticonderoga\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/File:1777BurgoyneTiconderoga.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">map in a Wikipedia article<\/a>. It is a <a title=\"Boston Public Library - map of Burgoyne - Ticonderoga\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.bpl.org\/details_11085\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">map part of a collection from the Boston Public Library<\/a>. It is a fascinating and pretty unique military map, as it includes the dates of the battles during 1777 Burgoyne&#8217;s campaign right on the map at various locations.<\/p>\n<p>And if you are interested in old maps as I am, you may want to check the site of the Library of Congress. For example, here are the search results<a title=\"Library of Congress - Lake Champlain maps\" href=\"http:\/\/www.old-maps.com\/lakechamplain\/library_congress\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0on &#8220;Lake Champlain maps&#8221;<\/a> on this site.
